Understanding the Difference Between Part and Part 61 Training

One of the first choices in pilot training is deciding between Part 61 and Part 141 courses

Part

This structured, FAA-audited program follows a comprehensive syllabus with performance benchmarks, making it an excellent choice for students who prefer an accelerated, disciplined approach. With Part , students may complete their certification in fewer hours compared to Part 61 programs.

Part 61 Training

Ideal for students who need a more flexible schedule, Part 61 training allows for a customized pace that fits into a busy lifestyle. This option offers the same rigorous curriculum as Part  but with greater control over your schedule, though it may require more total hours for completion.

Pivotal Aviation offers both FAA-Approved  and Part 61 training programs to suit your unique needs.
