Ben earned his private pilots license in 2013 at the age of 17. His passion for flying runs in the family—he grew up in the backseat of small planes! Ben’s grandfather served as a pilot in the US Air Force, while his other grandfather, father, and uncle were all private pilots.

Most recently from New Orleans, Ben recently relocated to the Upstate with his wife, and they are both loving the change of scenery. Fun facts about Ben: Before becoming a full-time flight instructor, Ben worked as an Advanced EMT for New Orleans EMS.
